Devil's Whore is about the reality of life being messy, how long it takes for wounds to heal, how hard it can be to forgive (others and self), how difficult it can be to let go of bitterness, and the importance of learning from the mistakes of other people.

There are layers to the song that you will only discover when you put yourself in the shoes of each person mentioned in the story and spend time meditating on it.
